Maybe I'm exaggerating, but here's the thing: The medical officer today blamed all of my foot pain on my Vibrams. Thus: "NO VIBRAM SHOES" is double underlined on my duty chit.
It couldn't be anything else. Not at all. 95% of the time I run with no pain anywhere in my Vibrams. The MO is so against barefooting that he alluded to getting me NJPed if I ever wore them again.
Of course, all I have to do is make it through the week and somehow come up with magic money to buy standard shoes tonight, since the ones I have were declared worn out and probably wrong for my "problems".
It's been a frustrating day.
