Positivity!

After all my ranting, I figure it's time to recognize the positive things that have happened this week.
  • Sensei has declared me ready to test!
  • I learned a whole lot of stuff at work, even though the process was hard and stressful.
  • I ate mushrooms in my scrambled eggs for the first time!
  • I ran with Mr. Pede.
  • I have been using my night splint, and it's really helping my foot. (It is, in fact, possible to wake up in the middle of the sleep time, remove a three-strap boot, and throw it. Did it both nights I had the blasted thing on.)
  • I somehow managed to finish to MCIs. MCIs are correspondence courses, usually short little tests.
  • I had a good day at work today.
  • I feel like I have time to do all my chores today.
Wednesday was the PFT: 3 miles, flexed arm hang, crunches.
Thursday, all I did was walk around the LZ. By order of the SgtMaj, that's all any remedial participant who is on chit can do.
Unless, of course, it's Friday, and a low-impact bodyweight plus tire-flipping workout is in order!

Today I'm going to do a simple core workout. Planks, crunches, some oblique moves, and bridges to work my lower back. I might do it naked. I've always wondered what working out naked would be like. Of course I'm not going to do anything out in public, but in my room!
