Going the distance this week.

This week's Scout challenge is all about the distance! We have a couple choices, and there's also a pair-up option for the same categories. I may try to do all 3 categories. I have until Sunday to finish it. I'm already over halfway done with the water part. The run/walk part will be easy. I'll just hook up my endomondo app and go walk to do my local errands. The biking part will be the most challenging. It might be one of those where I just go out and do it all at once and try to not die! There are a few bike trails close by that I should check out.

Here's the Solo options:
Run/Walk 10km - Haven't started yet. 6 miles is cake though. I can easily walk most of it and run the rest with some short runs.
Bike 25km - Haven't started yet. It's a little over 15 miles, if my calculator is correct.
Swim 1km - 600m/1000m.

It's achievable for me to complete all three parts of the challenge this week. I have the base, fitness-wise, to do all of it. All I have to do is avoid being lazy and stay motivated.

If I just tracked the distances I did during remedial PT, I'd be done with half of the run/walk portion already...
